The freeform 3D autonomous surface robotic station is a G-nous Tech solution based on the integration of robotic technology, software and vision systems that can autonomously acquire the 3D geometry of the surface and generate the processing path.
Universal Robots’ collaborative robots, through the use of surface finishing systems, such as orbital grinders, and 3D vision systems, enable them to:
- perform the processing of different surfaces autonomously
- recognize the geometry of the surface to be processed without knowing the CAD model
- work the surface with high repeatability in terms of forces and machining path
