WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
G-nous is looking for a Robotics Engineer to work on development, commissioning and testing of new advanced collaborative robotic solutions in the industrial sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, program and commission of robotic solutions, with particular focus on collaborative robot workstations
- Select accessories, e.g., gripping systems, additional axes, vision systems, designed ad hoc for the specific applications
- Perform feasibility analysis, define technical specifications, and functional requirements of robotic automation systems
- Program embedded systems, micro-controllers, and industrial automation controllers
- Test and debug software for robotic applications
- Integrate robotic solutions in complex automation systems
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s Degree in Automation Engineering / Mechatronics / Robotics or equivalent
- +2 years of experience in programming and commissioning of robots, with particular reference to collaborative robots
- Strong experience in the execution of preliminary activities for the integration of robotic automation systems (feasibility analyses, technical specifications and functional requirements)
- Experience in programming embedded systems, microcontrollers and industrial automation and control systems (PLC)
- Knowledge of main industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP)
- Experience in software testing and debugging activities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in team
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
NICE TO HAVE
- Knowledge of collaborative robotics and related directives and regulations (i.e., Direttiva Macchine)
- Experience in integration and control of electric motors
- Good knowledge of Python, C++ and SolidWorks modelling software
- Knowledge of robotic simulation environments and offline programming (e.g., RoboDK)
